PAIGE & MASON | PUERTO VALLARTA WEDDING

March 2020, Plaza Pelicanos Grand, Puerto Vallarta

Paige and Mason, a beautiful young couple from the US, met in high school and soon fell in love. Paige studied nursing and Mason accounting.

Something very particular about this wedding was that the two fathers of both grooms had rebuilt their lives with other couples, so there were four fathers and four mothers in a harmonious relationship, happy for the marriage of their children.

Days before the wedding, we met to do a photographic session, which was included in their package. We also got to know each other and finalize details such as the wedding schedule and shot list.

On the day of the wedding, there were more than 100 guests. In fact, the bride and groom did not know how many they had confirmed! When walking through the hotel and passing wedding guests, they were surprised saying, “Look who is here! I don’t remember them confirming!”

Before the wedding, I started taking photos of the preparation (getting ready). It is one of my favorite moments. I love capturing those intimate moments with your best friends, siblings, and parents because they are quiet moments where you can feel the emotion, love, and happiness. The ritual before the wedding is magical.

The moment of the ceremony arrived. The groom entered with his two mothers, they were located at the altar under a very beautiful pergola on the beaches of the Hotel Plaza Pelicanos Grand with the sea in the background. The bride made her appearance with her two parents. The entrance was beautiful and very exciting.

During the ceremony, there were very moving words from the mother of the bride and a couple of friends sang a very beautiful song. The couple said yes, they promised each other love, friendship, and union for life.

With a warm and vibrant “Viva los novios!” they left surrounded by their friends, siblings, and parents. At the end of the tour, glasses of bubbly and fresh champagne awaited them to toast and greet each of the guests.

Then we had the “bride and groom session” which is my second favorite moment at a wedding. During the sunset, I captured precious photographs of the couple. Words could not describe their emotions and energy following the biggest moment in their lives; the photos say it all!

The dinner and dance floor was set on the large and spectacular terrace of the hotel. The perfect way to end the evening and celebrate the union of Page and Mason and their large families!
