FAQ

ENGAGEMENTS

Where should I propose?

The best place to propose is at your hotel. It can be on the beach, a romantic dinner, or you can ask the concierge for alternatives. It can also be in a nice restaurant or on another beach (you can ask me for the best beaches in the area).

What time do you recommend having the photo session?

We recommend having the photo session in the morning, 1-2 hours after sunrise, or in the evening, one hour before sunset. However, anytime is possible.

How long does a photo session last?

Normally, one hour is sufficient. If it lasts longer, we can add an extra hour (at an additional cost).

What material do we deliver?

For a one-hour photo session, we deliver 80 photos selected and edited. For a two-hour photo session, we deliver 160 photos selected and edited, plus the best 8 photos edited in Photoshop.

How long will it take to get the photos?

You will receive photos no later than 3 days after the session. Photos edited in Photoshop 10 to 15 days after the session. Videos: maximum 7 days after the session.

What happens if I have to cancel my session?

As stated in our cancellation policy, we hold onto the deposit as a cancellation fee. However, you can use the deposit toward a future photoshoot without an expiration date.

How can I prepare for the photo session?

We recommend that our clients look for photo inspiration on Pinterest and Instagram and share them with us. That way, we’ll know what kind of photos you’d like.

I’ve never had a professional photography session! How do I pose?

We prefer to take natural photographs and let you be yourself! We allow couples to flow in the moment and leave it up to us to capture your true essence. However, we will also show you some examples of poses, and provide instructions to capture different moments. Little by little, you will feel very comfortable in front of the camera!

How will you capture the proposal?

We provide a couple of different options. (1) Surprise photoshoot: We can capture the moment hidden in the distance with a zoom lens, and then have a session with the remainder of the time. (2) Planned photoshoot: The most recommended is to schedule a photo session so he/she can prepare for the session. At some point in the session, you can make the proposal and then continue with the photoshoot.

What clothes should I wear?

We recommend comfortable beachwear. For women, dresses work very well. Light colors work best: white, light blue, terracotta, pink, yellow, light green, and salmon. Recommend accessories: hats, sunglasses, and scarfs.

How many changes of clothes can I have?

In one hour, we recommend a maximum of two clothes changes. In two hours, there can be up to 3 clothes changes.

WEDDINGS

What is the pre-wedding meeting?

The pre-wedding meeting is very important for us. We want to connect with the couple and understand their needs and wants. It’s also a time to discuss important details of the wedding day.

What is your photography style?

We are wedding photojournalists. Our job is to capture the authentic nature of our clients and the natural essence of each moment. For example, the first time the father sees his daughter dressed as a bride or the first look between the bride and groom. We like to blend into the environment so our clients don’t even know we are there which allows us to take candid and sincere photographs. We also take portrait photographs ensuring we have photos of the most important people on your big day.

How long will it take to receive the photos?

All photos will be delivered within ten days after the wedding. Photos edited in Photoshop 20 days after the wedding.

How do you edit and how many photographs do you deliver?

We take an unlimited amount of photos and deliver the number of photos agreed upon in the package. There is always a minimum of 60 selected and edited photographs per hour of service. We do not deliver unedited pictures. We prefer light editing to maintain the organic moments. We sharpen focus, framing, colors, contrast, light, and shadows in editing.

How do you edit in Photoshop?

We choose the best 10-20 photos to edit in Photoshop. We do a meticulous job of spending 30-60 minutes on each photo. We remove background objects, adjust lighting, and improve aesthetics. The possibilities are endless, yet we always try to maintain the natural beauty of the photograph.
